At the time, reaching the area was slow and difficult, and reliable information was scarce. It was a genuine adventure—one we undertook decades ago—that remains deeply close to our hearts to this day.

ChileMontaña was created and is run by its founders, mountain guides driven by a deep passion for nature and shaped by years of professional and climbing experience around the world.

Who we are

Photo: Having lunch on Everest camp 3 at 6.300m. In 2001, we decided to attempt Mount Everest as a team. Five of the seven members reached the summit, making it not only a remarkable achievement but also an experience that forged lifelong bonds of friendship.
